The intention of this Biophysics Satellite meeting to the IUPAC2025 World Chemistry Congress in Kuala Lumpur (iupac2025.org), is to showcase the activity in biophysics in SE Asia. Representatives of the biophysics communities in 8 countries in the region will give lectures about their research, and act as ambassadors to initiate networking and collaborative activities for research, to promote mobility of researchers, as well as plan future conferences across the region. IUPAB (IUPAB.ORG) and ABA (asian-bp.org) are supporting this satellite meeting as a continuation of the past activity of the ABA, and to encourage the formation of new societies and communities. Three IUPAB Councillors and the President of ABA are present.
